Have never seen one of these (adult form). Where did you see it? Thanks for posting and for the ID. One of the wonderful aspects of EdHat.

If it was active at night, my guess is antlion. Their larval form is quite different looking!

At first I thought it was a termite, but it has only 4 legs. And, the head is shaped differently.
