Injured Hiker Rescued at Hot Springs Trail

Montecito Firefighters rescued an injured hiker from the Hot Springs Trail on Wednesday afternoon.

At 3:00 p.m., firefighters and emergency responders from AMR located a 54-year-old woman who fell while hiking. She suffered several injuries including a possible arm fracture.

The woman was provided medical treatment and carried approximately one mile to the trailhead where an AMR ambulance transported her to the hospital.
