I know you just post what you hear, but there is no such bird as an American Eagle and only one or two sightings a year of any eagle on this side of the pass. So likely a common hawk like a Red-tail. Still sorry for the bird though, cool raptors.
They said it was an Eagle so I posted an eagle not what you said heard eagle posted that, it was early so I said American perhaps I was thinking of the car I don’t know I don’t sleep much.
It is in America and it is an Eagle so…..It’s an American Eagle but it’s ok if you want to call it something else and I don’t know what happened poor thing I hope it was ok but don’t know. It was just a brief notice on the CHP Website.
Sounds like an ill eagle to me. Hope that it doesn’t get deported.
