Hundreds Are Vaccinated at Drive-Thru Flu Clinics

700 vaccinations were given out Thursday at one of the two free drive-thru flu shot clinics in the Santa Marcos High parking lot.  The next clinic is today from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. 

There is also a vaccination tent for those who arrive on bikes or walk-in.  The free clinics are coordinated by The Santa Barbara Public Health Department, Sansum Medical, Medical Reserve Corps and student nurses from Santa Barbara City College.

Earlier in the week, two clinics were held in Lompoc.  Next week on October 13th  and 15th there will be clinics at Alan Hancock College in Santa Maria.
