Humberto Salmeron

Humberto (Beto) Salmeron also known as Papi passed away peacefully surrounded by family, in Santa Barbara, at the age of 85, on Friday September 29th, 2017 after a year long battle fighting cancer.

He was born February 11th, 1932 in Mexico City, to parents Jesus and Refugio Salmeron. Upon coming to the United States he served our country in the Korean War. He spent his entire life in Santa Barbara, raising his two children and working over 35 years for the Santa Barbara School District.
