Hotel Santa Barbara, the 75-key boutique hotel located on State Street in downtown Santa Barbara, officially kicked off its centennial year with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the South Coast Santa Barbara Chamber of Commerce.
The celebration spotlighted the hotel’s recently renovated lobby and guest rooms, along with 1926, the property’s new bar offering craft cocktails, specialty coffee drinks and locally inspired bites.
Guests marked the occasion with a champagne toast and hors d’oeuvres while touring the refreshed property and enjoying live music along with a candle-pouring experience from Santa Barbara-based Candle Bar 111.
“Hotel Santa Barbara has long been a place where locals and visitors alike can connect with the spirit of the city,” said Chris Cline, General Manager. “As we celebrate 100 years of hospitality, we’re proud to honor our history while introducing thoughtful updates that enhance the guest experience. We look forward to welcoming guests who want to experience Santa Barbara’s vibrant culture firsthand.”
Located in the heart of downtown, Hotel Santa Barbara has been a destination for travelers seeking a boutique stay just steps from the city’s top dining, shopping and the Stearns Wharf.
