  1. When you’re riding a bicycle and hit by a car, adrenaline kicks in and you may think you’re all right——-but maybe you’re not. You ride off, telling the car/truck/SUV driver “No problem.” I hope this elderly bicyclist is okay.

  2. Not sure of the circumstances of this accident, but it’s been my experience, that driving on Cliff dr., the bicyclists seem to ride ON the line, and occasionally swerve outside the bike lane….. But, because I’ve seen it happen on a regular basis, I tend to drive in the far left lane, or I will drive slower and stay clear of bicyclists. Every once in a while, if they are REALLY REALLY bad, I will roll down my window and suggest to them to PLEASE stay in the bike lane….. …… ps- because of all the crazy-stupid drivers out on the roads right now, I’ve actually purchased a dash-cam, so there won’t be any dispute, as to what happened and who was at fault. ps- I’ve never had an accident that was my fault, and I’be been driving for well over 45 years. Of course I’ve had close-calls, but I try and follow the rules of the road, and keep that distance rule, for every 10mph – keep 1 car distance from the car in front of you.
