Hit-and-Run in Montecito

A white Mercedes Benz rammed into a silver Honda CRV at a four-way stop in Montecito on Friday, July 23, 2021. The incident occurred around 8:30 pm. The man in the Mercedes Benz took off and entered the 101 freeway heading north. Several witnesses attempted to follow but he was too quick. If you see a white Mercedes Benz with the front damaged, please take the license plate number and call CHP tip line at 1-800-TELL-CHP.
