Drove past it but couldn’t tell where the accident happened, but everything was staged at the entrance to the new housing development. When it was being built I was surprised that the city gave the ok to put the entry/exit ahead of a blind curve. I was also surprised to find long after it was a done deal, that the school district swapped that ocean view parcel with a larger one behind the school at the request of the developer. That parcel was originally public and part of La Mesa park, the city gave it to the school district for Washington School, then they did the swap and plan to “pave paradise and put in a parking lot” I question the wisdom of that one regarding emergency vehicle access given Lighthouse Rd is a narrow dead end and now physically un accessible from Meigs

Geez. I drove right past this and saw a huge long-ramped tow truck sitting ready to pick up the downed motorcycle and several police officers standing nearby. So sorry to hear anyone was hurt. I hope the rider will be okay. (To the poster: it was the driver of the vehicle that left the scene and the motorcylist may have been thrown by the impact, but I doubt that he "flew" anywhere.)

That male driver must have warrants, no license, no insurance, prior records, under the influence of something......etc.... otherwise, if it wasn't his fault, he should have stayed at the scene.
