  1. Overpopulation results in fires along w failure to create fire breaks by clearing some of them dead 120M trees, etc. .We build homes as allowed by taxpaying citizens in foothills and forests. No surprise when our homes burn:. The cost is spread to taxpayer funded FEMA and firefighters who’s willingly pay for our spectacular view lots. Than you.

  2. i guess that does not work for the global warming narrative- it felt like during the recent fires we herd only that global warming is to blame- i don’t know if its true or not true- however we would be far better served to look at all possibilities for these fires especially because they are so deadly – rather then picking one that we may or may not have control over? maybe? perhaps there are many reasons and many things we do have immediate control over?

  3. SB93105 – I don’t think anyone ever said that “global warming” sparked the actual fires. It’s that it created the conditions (low humidity, high heat, high winds, etc) that exacerbated these fires into the firestorms they have been becoming. Fires are almost always caused by humans, either by error or intention. But, without the conditions caused by global warming, the fires would be more manageable and less destructive and deadly.
