Source: Caltrans

A project to resurface State Route 246 from the Santa Rosa Creek Bridge to Hapgood Road East will resume on Monday, May 13.

Motorists will encounter lane closures with one-way reversing traffic control Monday through Thursday during the overnight hours from 7 pm until 6 am.

Construction will continue Sunday, May 19 through Thursday, May 23 during the overnight hours and continue weekly from 7 pm until 6 am.  Delays should not exceed 10 minutes.

This project was suspended last month due to insufficient overnight temperature for paving.

The contractor for this $2 million project is Granite Construction of Santa Barbara, CA. This project is expected to be complete this June.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
