Highway 246 Resurfacing Begins Next Week

A project to resurface State Route 246 from the Santa Rosa Creek Bridge to Hapgood Road East will begin on Monday, April 22.
 
Motorists will encounter lane closures with one-way reversing traffic control on Monday, April 22 from 8:30 am until 4 pm. 
 
Motorists will also encounter lane closures and one-way reversing traffic control during the overnight hours each Monday night through Friday morning from 8 pm until 6 am beginning Monday, April 29 through Friday, June 14. Delays should not exceed 10 minutes.
 
The contractor for this $2 million project is Granite Construction of Santa Barbara, CA. This project is expected to be complete this June.
 
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
