Highway 126 Closed in Both Directions

Fillmore: S/R 126 will be closed at least for several hours due to fatal traffic collision. One suspect in custody.

One motorist was killed, and two were injured in a three-vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer. SR 126 is closed in both directions, and will remain closed for several hours while investgators examine the scene. One suspect has been arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Motorists should avoid the area entirely. US 101 and SR 118 are alternate routes.

Road Closure: S/R 126 closed in both directions just east of Fillmore – fatal traffic collision. Avoid the area

A fatal traffic collision occurred on S/R 126 in Fillmore at approximately 2:24 pm today. A big rig and at least two other vehicles are involved, and there is one confirmed fatality.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area as traffic is closed in both directions between Mountain View and the railroad tracks at the eastern edge of Fillmore City.
