Source: Caltrans

A project to resurface U.S. Highway 101 from the northern city limits of Buellton to just past the State Route 101/154 separation is continuing during the overnight hours.

  • Motorists will encounter lane closures in both directions of U.S. 101 Monday through Friday from 7 pm to 6 am.
  • There will be ramp closures at the US 101 Overcrossing at Damassa Road and at the State Route 101/154 separation Monday through Friday from 8 pm to 6 am.

Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 15 minutes.  Electronic message signs will be posted alerting motorists of these closures and the California Highway Patrol will be present to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

The contractor for this $4.2 million project is Granite Construction Co. Inc. of Santa Barbara, CA. This project is expected to be completed in late September.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
