Highway 101 Ramp Closures Next Week

Caltrans has announced the following lane/ramp closures in the Santa Barbara/Goleta areas next week:

• The southbound US Highway 101 on-ramp at Glen Annie Road will be closed on Monday, August 26 from 9:15 am until 3 pm.
• The northbound US Highway 101 on-ramp at Milpas Street will be closed on Tuesday, August 27 from 9:15 am until 3 pm.
• The No. 1 (left) lane of southbound US Highway 101 will be closed between Fairview Avenue and Turnpike Road on Wednesday, August 28 and Thursday, August 29 from 9:15 am until 3 pm.

These lane/ramp closures are necessary so that Caltrans can perform vegetation control for fire prevention and to improve the appearance of the corridor.

This roadwork will be performed by the Caltrans Maintenance team of Santa Barbara, CA.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
