A two-day project to perform utility work near Highway 1 in Guadalupe adjacent to the Santa Barbara/San Luis Obispo County line will begin on Monday, June 2.
Travelers can expect lane closures with a flagging operation from 8 am until 4 pm. Delays should not exceed 10 minutes.
This roadwork will also include a relocation of utilities in advance of the replacement of the Santa Maria River Bridge on Highway 1 in Guadalupe which is anticipated to begin in late 2025. This work will be performed by SoCalGas, under permit from Caltrans.
