High Surf and Coastal Flood Advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf and Coastal Flood Advisory for the southern Santa Barbara coastline through Monday morning.   

The extended period of high surf continues on west and northwest facing beaches through Monday night.  There is a High Surf Advisory for the southern Santa Barbara south coast with damaging surf increasing to 6-12 ft.

Additionally, there is a Coastal Flood Advisory for Monday morning, with high tides of 6.5-7.0 feet and the potential for flooding of parking lots/beaches/walkways.  Additional high surf possible Wednesday through Thursday. 

Sand & sand bags are available to Montecito residents at Lower Manning Park, located at 449 San Ysidro Rd.
