Bravo to Andrew Velikanje and his Earthcomb crew, who came to a last-minute call on Friday from Heal the Ocean for help during the past three days of Fiesta.
They were out there every day scraping up confetti and other trash so all of it wouldn’t eventually get into the ocean.
Thank you, Andrew!

I am happy that this has been taken care of, but why did they have to come in at the last minute? Did planners not fully cover the clean up of the event? Was this fully planned by Heal the Ocean?
The clean up should have been in the plans for the entire event. Perhaps I am missing something.
