At 6:39 am this morning, two Santa Barbara County Fire engines, along with engines from Santa Maria City Fire and Guadalupe Fire Departments responded to the intersection of Betteravia and Brown Road in Santa Maria.
A head on collision involving a van with two passengers and a Mustang with four passengers left all six patients with moderate injuries, and all 6 were transported to Marian Hospital by AMR ground ambulances.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated by California Highway Patrol.
