Any bird savvy Edsters out there who can tell us if these are Sharp Shinned Hawks or Coopers Hawks?

They have been hanging around the last few days over here near Pebble Hill and we think one is actually a fledgling because it cries all the time and has the other one nearby most of the time.  They are nearly the same size though, so it is either a BIG baby or a small parent!

Fun to watch but my regular yard birds and bunnies aren't happy they are around.

This is the one bird ID that I will always shy away from. I will always get it wrong (just a me thing). What a treat, though, to watch the parenting and the raising of a new one! I'm sure your yard birds and rabbits will forgive you.

I say Coopers because the tail ends look more rounded. Also: Coopers are a bit larger than Sharp-shinned.
