Harbor Dredging Continues
By the City of Santa Barbara Waterfront Department
Dredging began at 8:00pm on [Sunday, February 26]. The dredge is expected to move 120,000 cubic yards of sand in about 15 days.
Mariners will be able to transit the area during dredging. All concerned traffic can contact the dredge “Sandpiper” on VHF Channel 63 or Harbor Patrol on VHF 12 or 16.
