Great White Hunting at Padaro Beach

Source: Matthew Organista

The recent shark sightings inspired Matt to go hunting with his drone. Good thing he wasn’t in the water! Seems like he was only out there for 30 seconds before he found one.

  1. The shark part of the Video was cool, and would have been even better if continuous, and kept closer to the shark. Appreciate your work Matt, but your mug would have gotten enough notice W/ 10 seconds at the beginning & end; having sweaty nose interrupt the shark footage was not helpful. Most of the swim camp counselors have seen a similar shark cruising Santa Claus, as have I from a Kayak. The one I saw was about 6ft long and looked slimmer, hard to figure the size from this video.
Carp. City, SB. county & State Beaches may want to consider setting up a drone based shark watch; much cheaper than having the coast guard helicopter come out for a look like they did last week.
