I just tried to call the Walgreens on Calle Real but got a message saying it was closed. When I was put through to Walgreens corp I was told it was due to civil unrest? I can not find anything on any news source about this?
Why is Walgreens in Goleta closed? and any idea when it may reopen?

I have prescriptions there I need NOW. This is bs. Just called and they said I can get them filled at other locations… gee thanks. Not driving to Lompoc for my meds. The lady on the phone said they’ve been closing stores randomly “because of Santa Claus?” I must have heard wrong, but either way. With no info and no idea when they’re re-opening, they’ve just lost my monthly business.
When the Medicine Shoppe unexpectedly shut down at State & Micheltorena, my prescriptions were automatically switched to CVS, which I’m not overly fond of. It was an extremely simple matter to get them switched over to the Ralphs pharmacy, and it was done almost instantaneously. You might want to get hold of Walgreen’s corporate office and tell them you need to have your prescriptions reassigned immediately.
REX – thanks! I called my dr. and had them all transferred to CVS (which I don’t like either!) I wonder why someone found my comment objectionable, though? Strange!
That is strange but hey stuff happens. Just three months ago my kids were sitting in real classrooms next to their buds, people enjoyed being around each other and I didn’t have to wear a mask just to buy a damn banana. Now that IS strange.
They are totally open today and onward, are you people actually calling them or just some typical BS rumors. I just talked to them.
TAGDES – Did you not read my comment? I called the corporate # and they confirmed it was closed. I looked on the website when I went to confirm my meds were ready, it said Temporarily Closed. Try reading before coming in here with that attitude.

Worth a Costco membership if only to have their pharmacy. Walgreens and CVS requires a card also for their small discounts which allows them access to your personal data. Goleta Walgreens not pleasant probably because it appeared to be understaffed. Wall Street owners not kind to main street.
