Goleta is now home to a long-established family-owned pizzeria.

Giovanni’s Pizza has opened a new location at the Target Shopping Center on Hollister Avenue. To mark the latest expansion, it will be holding a grand opening event on May 2, from noon to 2 p.m.

Grand Opening Event Details

The grand opening will feature live music, food, and giveaways. Customers will also have a chance to win tickets to artists such as Bruno Mars and Lewis Capaldi. There will also be passes for the Condor Express.

According to organizers, customers will get gift cards and other prizes.

About the Restaurant

A Santa Barbara classic, Giovanni’s Pizza has been in the area since 1979. It is a family-run restaurant popular for its simple Italian-American food.

The restaurant uses traditional recipes and makes its dough fresh every day.

Menu and Food

Apart from regular pizzas, Giovanni’s Pizzas also offers build-your-own pizzas or specialty pizzas. Pizzas come with thin or thick crust and a variety of toppings.

Other items include pasta such as lasagna, ravioli, and spaghetti. The restaurant menu also offers calzones and baked dishes, hot and cold sandwiches, appetizers like garlic bread, mozzarella sticks, and chicken wings. Along with this, it offers salads and sides.

New Location in Goleta

The new restaurant is in the Target Shopping Center on Hollister Avenue.

The grand opening is open to the public and will last two hours.

Organizers say the event is meant to introduce the restaurant to the community with food, music, and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Apart from Giovanni’s Pizza, Goleta also saw the opening of Rori’s Artisanal Creamery this month. The popular small-batch ice cream brand.

The new Goleta shop opened on April 3, at 270 Storke Road. With the Goleta location, Rori’s Artisanal Creamery has expanded its presence across the region, joining seven other shops in Arroyo Grande, Camarillo, Carpinteria, Montecito, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, and Ventura.

The creamery also provides catering services for weddings, corporate gatherings, and private events. These include customized setups such as ice cream sandwich stations, sundae bars, and float carts, according to the company website.
