Gotta love a good dog!
Another paid holiday for government workers voted for by government workers. Santa Barbara city employees now have 12 paid holidays each year. Each paid holiday costs taxpayers millions of dollars with no city services rendered.
One holiday per month, averaged out. What an unsustainable burden! And weekends off, too! Plus, they’re probably only required to work an average of 8 hours out of 24! Unconscionable!
Not to mention America’s habit of having a whole two weeks of vacation time for the *privileged* workers.
ANON – why should government workers not get paid holidays? Most people in the private sector have today off (and paid) so why shouldn’t they?
Whatta good dog!
