The Garagiste Wine Festival will return to Solvang in February for its 12th annual edition, featuring a weekend showcasing Central Coast wineries.
The festival brings together small, independent winemakers, many of which are without tasting rooms, providing an opportunity to connect directly with the local community.
According to the event announcement, the festival is scheduled for February 6-7, 2026, at the Solvang Veterans Memorial Hall. Ticket options range from individual tastings to a full weekend pass.

Organizers say the festival will feature a unique wine lineup each day, with no repeats over the weekend. Participating Santa Barbara County producers include Fates’ Lieutenant, Pars Fortuna, Barieau Wines, and Cordon of Santa Barbara.
With more than 25 years of experience across all seven Santa Barbara County AVAs, Etienne C. Terlinden produces wines under the Cordon of Santa Barbara label that highlight the character of the fruit and the influence of local microclimates.

Fates’ Lieutenant focuses on organically farmed, sustainably crafted wines that use minimal additions, emphasizing the origin, vintage, and local terroir in every bottle. This approach ensures the wines express the unique characteristics of the Santa Barbara vineyards where the grapes are grown.
Pars Fortuna, a boutique winery founded by Kira Malone, reflects a restrained, cool-climate approach shaped by her family’s farming background and years of experience with Central Coast vineyards. The winery’s name, derived from the astrological “Part of Fortune,” symbolizes the alignment of passion and skill that guides Malone’s winemaking philosophy.
The Garagiste Wine Festival has previously been named the top wine festival in the country by USA Today.

The festival will take place over multiple events throughout the weekend. Friday’s programming begins with an intimate tasting from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Tickets for Friday’s Rare & Reserve Tasting are priced at approximately $89, with attendance limited to 150 guests. The tasting is expected to include reserve, club-only, library, pre-release wines, and possible barrel samples.
The evening will also include a Cajun-inspired buffet prepared by Clean Slate Wine Bar, with baked goods from Solvang Bakery and vegetarian options available.
On Saturday, a VIP Seminar and Grand Tasting are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with tickets priced at $139. The ticket includes access to the seminar, a box lunch, and a dessert item.
