Fugitive Search Off Patterson Ave

Reported by Bob Scan

There’s some type of search going on in a neighborhood off Patterson and Hollister Avenues. It doesn’t sound like Sheriff or PD, possibly probation or U.S. Marshal.

Started a bit after 3pm (Tues) with a type of pursuit but lost the suspect. A perimeter was put up with agents searching through the neighborhood, bike path, creek, and railroad tracks.

Suspect described as a white male, brown hair, about 5’11” wearing a brown shirt and jeans.

Unable to locate the suspect from what I could hear.

Fugitive Patrol came to our house around 3:30 p.m. in the Lassen Drive and San Simeon area, behind the Ralph’s off Hollister Ave.

Officers wearing jeans, black vests, and gold star badges that read “Fugitive Patrol” went house to house asking us to get inside and said there were reports of a child abuser loose in our neighborhood.

They were driving around in unmarked cars and walking on foot. I called the Sheriff’s Office and they verified it was a legitimate operation.
