SpaceX Launches Rocket at 2:00AM Sunday From Vandenberg

SpaceX completed a successful launch at 2:00 a.m. Sunday from Vandenberg Space Force Base.

Falcon 9 launched 22 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit. This was the seventh flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Space Development Agency’s Tranche 0 mission and now six Starlink missions.

Friday’s planned SpaceX launch from Vandenberg has been rescheduled to Saturday evening through Sunday morning.

The launch window is scheduled from 11:26 p.m. to 3:21 a.m.

SpaceX is planning another Falcon 9 rocket launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Friday evening, according to SpaceFlightNow.

The launch window begins at 11:47 p.m. and runs through 3:43 a.m. Saturday.

The launch is expected to continue another batch of second-generation Starlink V2 Mini internet satellites from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E).

The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will land on the drone ship ‘Of Course I Still Love You’ in the Pacific Ocean.

Weather permitting, the launch could be visible throughout the South Coast.

  1. ??? What happened? Spaceflight Now still is listing on the “Launch Schedule” but NOT on the “Launch Log”? So was it too windy? I don’t see a listing that says there was a problem… Oh, wait after further review it’s listed as 28/29 Approx 11:16 p.m. – 3:35 a.m. PDT (0616-1035 UTC)? So Saturday/Sunday?
