Firefighters Respond to Solvang Kitchen Fire

Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to a Solvang kitchen fire in a residential home on Sunday.

At 4:55 p.m., crews arrived on the scene in the 1500 block of Kronberg Drive and found a working structure fire that started in the kitchen and was extending into the home. 

An aggressive attack was initiated and the fire was knocked down within 10-15 minutes.

All occupants were out of the structure and there were no injuries. Crews remained on the scene to overhaul and salvage items.

The cause is under investigation.
