Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire in Goleta early Sunday morning.
At 6:53 a.m. crews arrived at 7944 Rio Vista and discovered smoke and fire coming from the garage originating from the dryer.
Firefighters moved quickly extinguished the dryer and moved it out of the house. Crews continued salvage operations and an overhaul ensuring the fire was completely extinguished.
The exact cause is under investigation.
Must have been a Kenmore dryer.
