Firefighters Knock Down Fire in Orcutt Garage

Santa Barbara County firefighters and units from the Santa Maria Fire Department responded to a structure fire in an Orcutt garage on Monday morning.

At 9:57 a.m., fire crews responded to the 3800 block of Angeles Road and discovered a detached four-car garage with smoke coming from the attic.

Firefighters initiated a quick attack and knocked down the fire in the attic within 10-15 minutes.

No one was home at the time and there were no injuries or anyone displaced. The fire is under investigation.
