Santa Barbara County firefighters extinguished a structure fire at an Orcutt school on Sunday afternoon.
At 3:29 p.m., Crews arrived at the Joe Nightingale School at 255 Winter Road. Santa Barbara County firefighters were joined by Santa Maria City firefighters and it took just ten minutes to knock down the blaze.
The fire was located in a locked and unoccupied modular classroom. There was no extension to other buildings and no injuries.
The cause is under investigation.
