Fire Weather Watch for Sundowner Winds

(1) Go here: https://www.sbyc.org/. Click on Resources, then click on Harbor Fairway, Santa Barbara Yacht Club live webcams. You’ll see the mountains in the background, nearest Montecito. (2) Santa Ynez Peak, four views, go to: http://hpwren.ucsd.edu/cameras/wide-c.html, scroll down to bottom on right, live webcams. Maybe this will be helpful? I would guess that the Wildland Residents Association has a system to detect wildfire starts. Other than that, I don't know.

Fire Weather Watch for Sundowner Winds

Does anyone know if we post lookouts up and down our mountain range when fire danger is so high? I sure hope we have a way to keep a constant vigil. The fire that started near the Trout Club was detected early and heroically pounded by hand crews and choppers. Thanks to all who keep watch.
