People take parking spaces seriously in Santa Barbara...
Suspect blocked in behind Domino's....Must have wanted to get away I guess he didn't want the parking space after all.
The more I hear on the scanner the less I want another car.
I wonder if the parking pressure created by the Planning Department's lack of spaces in new developments contributed to this? I think this will become very common and the AUD and ADU programs add more cars to our neighborhoods but not any more parking spaces.
Having lived a couple of blocks away and driving both Calle Laureles and Calle Noguera almost daily for 47 years I haven't seen any parking problems there from "new developments" except for the "developing crowds" at Uptown on football Sunday. Even Bevmo seems to usually have plenty of parking.
Tag: How many people have moved into the new, mega Upper State Street Estancia condo development yet? Do you know how their sales are going.
Doubt anyone living at Estancia is parking behind Dominos at 3pm due to the parking shortage at their condo.....maybe read Pits post..."lack of parking...in new developments"...... Also I've heard Estancia is selling is selling quite well as there is no shortage of people willing to pay 1.5 million for these to rent out similar to the people grabbing homes not long ago for VRBOs.
Oh oh oh. Must be North Side Gang turf fight!! Or do we only make that assumption when it is on the East or West Side?
