Female Caretaker Arrested for Financial Elder Abuse

Two weeks ago a caregiver from a different agency was at our home. When I reviewed one of our security cams, she was seen photographing a cabinet containing rx drugs on which our names and drug names were clearly visible. She can be seen e-mailing the photo. The agency told me she originally had no reasonable explanation. After refusing to go to the HR department to explain herself she was fired. Our doctor said she was likely looking for drugs to pilfer for sale on the street. Moral: Be vigilant with people in your home whom you expect to trust. Caregivers: Conduct yourselves as though you are being photographed - because you ARE!!
