Father Sentenced 25 Years to Life For Murdering Son

Aramazd Andressian Sr., the father of the missing 5-year-old Pasadena boy, has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for murdering his son, nearly four months after the incident.

Aramazd Andressian, Jr. was reportedly smothered to death by his father. He was reported missing by his mother on April 22 after his father failed to return him in a planned custody exchange. Andressian Sr. told investigators he took his son to the Lake Cachuma Recreation Area the day before he disappeared.

The child’s body was not discovered until July 1, by Vista Point near Lake Cachuma.

After killing his son, Andressian Sr. took a trip to Vegas where reports say he attended several shows, including Britney Spears and Celine Dion, attended a boxing match, and went skydiving, reports the Los Angeles Times.
