A couple of shots from Wednesday afternoon.
Thank you Max!
I just wish these could be hi-resolution images so I could have one printed and displayed (with full credit to Max).
All of those shots were one day. Snow in the hills, water being released and the strange lighting due to a cloud bank offshore....we live in Paradise!
Is the middle photo Lake Cachuma? In the lower right corner of the photo, it appears water is being released at the dam. The recent storm added some acre feet, but the current lake level is only 47% full. Why would they be releasing water downstream now?
Cachuma has to release water for downstream aquifers and fish habitat maintenance.
Great shots, Max! That sunset pano is bucolic, evoking impressions of shepherds in the hills above a quiet seaport fishing village. Thanks for sharing.
Great pics as always Max, thanks for sharing...dusting of snow?
