Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to a structure fire in Orcutt early Friday.
At 4:38 a.m., crews arrived in the 4300 block of Coachman Way to find smoke coming from a single-story family residence.
A family of six people were inside and able to self-evacuate prior to firefighter’s arrival.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire by 4:47 p.m. with minor damage caused to the structure.
Captain Scott Safechuck stated the cause of the fire was due to bundled rags that were used with finishing oil.
