Comedy fans in Santa Barbara are in for a treat this summer as Trevor Noah is set to perform at the Santa Barbara Bowl in August.

Noah will be performing on August 1 and 2, 2026, he announced in a social media post. The Santa Barbara performances are part of his new shows on the West Coast of the U.S.

Presented by Goldenvoice, the show on August 1, is expected to begin at 7 p.m., with gates opening at 5:30 p.m., according to the Santa Barbara Bowl website.

Tickets are available in multiple sections, from general admission on the floor to seating options, along with price ranges. Ticket prices start from $45.50 and go up to $155.50.

Ticket sales are limited to eight per person.

The performance marks one of the Emmy-winning comedian’s stops in California, bringing his sharp wit and worldly observations to the state. His performances are known for blending storytelling with commentary on current events and culture.

In addition to Santa Barbara, he will also perform at Brooks, Saratoga, and Costa Mesa in California, as well as in Chandler, Arizona, and Bend, Oregon.

Best known as the host of ‘The Daily Show,’ the late-night talk show and satirical news program, Noah has won two Primetime Emmy Awards.

He has written, produced and, and starred in 12 comedy specials, and his ‘Off The Record’ tour was sold out globally.

The 41-year-old comedy star is the author of the No. 1 New York Times bestseller ‘Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood,’ and the No. 1 New York Times bestseller ‘Into the Uncut Grass.”

He now hosts an original SiriusXM podcast ‘What Now? With Trevor Noah’ and heads his production company Day Zero Productions.

Noah made history when he hosted the Grammy Awards on February 1, 2026, for the sixth consecutive time. However, he courted controversy when he joked about President Donald Trump, prompting the president to sue him.

Although he did not delve too much into politics and controversy during his monologue, Noah made fun of Nicki Minaj’s absence, the Associated Press reported.

Last week, Minaj visited and praised President Trump. Noah also impersonated the president and made more jokes on the president during the show.

Reacting sharply to Noah’s jokes, President Trump threatened to sue Noah in a post on Truth Social.

“It looks like I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C., and suing him for plenty$,” President Trump wrote on Truth Social.
