Emergency Lane Closure to Replace Gaviota Guardrail

(SANTA BARBARA COUNTY) – An emergency project to replace guardrail damaged from a recent accident will result in the closure of the No. 1 (left) lane of northbound US Highway 101 north of the Gaviota Tunnel on Friday, July 14 from 9 am until 2 pm.

Motorists can expect delays and should allow additional time for any travel planned through the Gaviota area.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
