FLICKA: I remember Sears, which was next-door to the State Theater, but like you and the other poster, I had no idea there was an elevator at Victoria Court. The scariest elevator(s) in town are there ones at the downtown Ralphs.
I got rescued in that elevator once with one of my old girl friends the fire department rescued us...We were on the floor at the time we got stuck in the elevator.

Oct 22, 2017 07:45 PMThe elevator has only been there for about 40 years. When it was Sears you had to walk upstairs for the large appliance department.
