Early Morning Structure Fire in Santa Ynez

Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to an early morning structure fire in Santa Ynez Tuesday.

At 1:49 a.m., three engines, one truck company, a Battalion Chief, and one standby ambulance arrived in the 3500 block of Olive Ave. Crews discovered a single story, single-family residence with a fire on the front porch extending through the ceiling into the front room.

Crews made an aggressive attack and quickly knocked the fire down before checking for further fire extension into the house. 

All occupants were out of the house and there are no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
