A fire that broke out in an exterior shed in the 1500 block of Calle Miro was quickly controlled by firefighters in the early hours of Tuesday, with no injuries or displacements, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
The fire, engulfing a 10×10 foot shed, was reported at approximately 3:40 a.m. Fire crews were dispatched to the scene, managing to knock down the flames by 3:54 a.m. Crews were able to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures and avoiding potential harm to residents and the community.
Officials confirmed that no one was displaced as a result of the incident and there were no downed power lines in the area.
All resources were returned to service by 7:00 a.m. A fire investigator arrived on scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
