Early Morning Power Outage

• Power’s out on Barranca, 6:00am Tuesday

• What’s up? No power on Shoreline Drive.

• SBCC announced a power outage at 6:45am: The main campus of SBCC is currently closed due to a Southern California Edison unplanned power outage resulting from equipment problems. At this time, Southern California Edison is estimating the power will come back on by 12:00 PM today. We will monitor the power outage and keep you informed. To ensure the safety of everyone, it is necessary to close campus during a power outage. Please do not come to campus until you have received notification that campus has reopened. Students: If you will need to miss a class today, contact your Professor for further instructions. Both Wake and Schott campuses and the Children’s Center remain open.
