Dog of the Week: Rocky

Hi! My name is Rocky and I’m at the Santa Barbara Campus. I’m a 7 year old male Husky who is eager for a new home! I have been around children from ages 4-16 and have been gentle and enjoyed playing with them. I have also lived with dogs, but never cats. My previous family said that I am potty trained but did spend a lot of time outside, which I really enjoy. I love hanging out inside while my family is home. I am a husky, so that means I have a lot of energy, but some of the way I like to burn that off is by playing fetch. If you want to experience the big love bug I am, let my friends at the shelter know.

Ready to adopt or want to hear more about me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email or call 805-964-4777.

When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

Transfer of animals may be available between our Santa Maria and Santa Barbara Campuses. If an animal you would like to meet is at the campus further away from you, just let us know when you email, and we will be in touch with you if a transfer is available. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
