Pollo is a 1-year-old male tan and black long-haired German Shepherd dog who weighs approximately 69 lbs and is available for adoption at the Lompoc Animal Center. Pollo adores people, and he is not shy about showing it. Pollo enjoys playing with other dogs. Pollo is described by staff as a dog who enjoys cuddling and is working on his leash skills; his eagerness to please makes him a joy to train. His adoption fees include neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, flea treatment, and a health and wellness exam.

What is going on with the glut of German Shepards in our county?!
I can’t be the only one who’s noticed.
Best wishes to the doggos and their new owners! Commit to a lifetime!

Huskies are also packing the shelters in the last few years. People are getting these big dogs and then bailing on them. Sad.
