Dog of the Week: Pluto Sunrise

Source: Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue

Pluto Sunrise is a 10-year-old, 56-pound female lab mix looking for her forever home. For the last several years, she was homeless and spent a lot of time in and out of the local shelter. She is the sweetest girl, loves people and is very smart and easy going.

She’s quiet, fully housebroken, and has been sleeping inside with her foster family. Although she spends a lot of the day napping, she has a very energetic and playful side too. She loves exploring in the backyard and going for car rides and is very well-behaved in the car.

Pluto’s biggest challenge is that she’s a bit overweight and needs to lose about 8-10 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and up-to-date on flea medication. She would probably do best as an only dog in a moderately active household so she can continue getting daily walks and working on her figure.

This sweet, spunky senior gal has a lot of love to give and deserves the very best for her golden years! For more information or to submit an adoption application, please visit www.sclrr.org
