Hi! My name is Duke and I am at our Santa Maria Campus. I am a 2-year-old male Alaskan Husky who is eager for a new home! I am outgoing, friendly and full of life! I enjoy being with people, going outside and all the activities. My ideal home would be will be with an active family who would not mind my rambunctious bubbly personality. I am a husky after all, so if you know anything about my breed we are in a whole other category of dog. Huskies are known to explore, enjoy the elements like dirt and water and we are excellent singers! I am not extremely into all those things but sometimes I like to indulge in my natural Husky instincts. You would love to add me to your family if you are looking for a lively dog. I can see us going on adventures! We can take trips to the snow, play in the ocean, going on car rides; I am down for anything! We are currently offering adoptions by appointment only, so if you are interested in adopting me, email adoptme@sbhumanesociety.org to make an appointment today! When you take your new pet home, he or she will have been spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, provided with a permanent microchip identification, a certificate for a free veterinary exam, and an incentive for pet insurance. Our partners at Purina® brand dog and cat food also provide food to get you home. We do offer transfer between campuses if an animal you are interested in is at the location not nearest to you. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
