Dog of the Week: Benny

‘Benny’ with the Beautiful Golden Eyes

Benny is a 25 pound, 3 year old, ‘Mystery Mutt’, most likely with some Schnauzer/Lhasa Apso/Poodle in the mix. Benny’s hair is growing out after a ‘bad haircut, and with every day he just keeps getting more handsome.

Benny’s foster Mom describes him as a very sweet, polite, and soulful dog that loves going on walks, and wants nothing more than to please. Benny came from a multi-dog home and gets along well with other dogs.

Benny would be best suited to a calm adult household since he is a dog that is initially reserved, and will require an adopter(s) that understands it will take a little time for him to adjust to new people and surroundings – prior to coming to Spark Rescue he had lived with one family since puppyhood and is still a bit confused by the upheaval (his foster Mom tells us that with each day that passes he becomes that much more comfortable and happy.)

If you are interested in giving this sweet boy a forever home, please submit an adoption application found at: www.sparkrescue.org
