    • SAIL – being violent and hateful isn’t necessarily a “mental illness.” The important part here is the guns. I know you all love to deflect and make excuses for them, but how and why this man was allowed to purchase guns is the problem here.

        • Ehhh… touche in this case I will say.

But….. blaming “mental health” for all mass gun violence ignores the actual, more easily fixable problem: the ease of purchasing firearms capable of killing many people in just seconds. No one (civilians) needs those, not even hunters. No one needs bump stocks. No one needs high capacity mags. Until we put some common sense limitations on the 2A, we’ll be living with this crap forever.

And before anyone says the 2A “shall not be infringed,” think about why you can’t purchase missile launchers, grenades, etc. It CAN and it SHOULD.
